Cacic told a news conference in Zagreb that this government did not know how nor had any courage to carry out reforms.
The HNS leader said the problem lay in claims that the latest borrowing was for ensuring more time for Croatia's reforms.
He added that reforms must be conducted in parallel through the strong encouragement of the economic growth and cuts in the public spending.
Cacic said that there was official documentation proving that the current Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)-led government was the only government in the Croatian history to have inherited "no penny of matured debt" from the previous government when it came into office. It inherited the country's debt of EUR 19.5 billion to increase it now by 2.5 times, according to him..
