The bill relies on the positive experience from the existing legislation on the HRT.
The positive opinion on the HRT subscription fee was received from the European Commission in late June, after the new bill was forwarded to the Commission's agencies, the ministry stated.
The parliament is expected to discuss the final bill on the HRT in second reading during the forthcoming autumn session.
