The charges are thus pressed against Zdravko Sestak, Darko Marinac and Darko Sket.
Sestak, who at the time relevant to the indictment sat at Podravka management board, and Marinac, who was the then Podravka CEO, are charged with negligent performance of duty in May and June 2007 as they had allowed the payment of HRK 5 million as a loan from Podravka to another company. The prosecutors charge them with failing to take into account Podravka's business interests and with damaging that food producer in the northern town of Koprivnica.
Zdravko Sestak and Darko Sket, the CEO of the "Sloga" footwear company, which is now in official receivership, are charged with malfeasance through an agreement they concluded between Podravka and Sloga in April 2009.
Their agreement reduced Sloga's bankruptcy estate.
