She thanked HOK President Mato Topic for the chamber's support for the government's Economic Recovery Programme.
Kosor added said that Croatia had 93,431 registered trades and crafts businesses employing 217,000 people.
Topic said those businesses were going through a tough time because of the crisis. He added that over the past year the chamber lost one tenth of its membership, citing the global crisis, the grey economy, lack of financial discipline, no tax relief for young craftsmen and tradesmen as some of the reasons for such situation.
Announcing an international conference on women in crafts to take place in Zagreb in mid-September, he said that one third of Croatian craftsmen and tradesmen were women.
