SARAJEVO, July 7 (Hina) - A mass grave with at least six bodies of killed Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks) and Croats was unearthed in an inaccessible ravine on slopes of Mount Vlasic, central Bosnia, the Sarajevo-based Institute for Missing People (INO) said on Tuesday.

The mass grave contained remains of victims from the town of Prijedor. On 21 August 1992 Serb forces killed at least 210 Croats and Bosniaks at that site after the victims had been previously detained in camps in the area of Prijedor. They were brought to Mount Vlasic under the pretext that they would be swapped for other prisoners.

The mass grave was found with the assistance of intelligence services agents in the search after some perpetrators confessed to the crime.

The spokesman for the Office of the Bosnian state prosecutor, Boris Grubesic, said today that mass grave was found after Damir Ivankovic and Gordan Djuric admitted to have been involved in the killings on Mount Vlasic.

Another six former Bosnian Serb policemen are indicted for this crime and stand trial which began in March before the Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

After pleading guilty, Ivankovic was last week sentenced to 14 years in prison.
