SARAJEVO, June 29 (Hina) - The Transparency International branch
in Bosnia-Herzegovina has accused the Bosnian Serb entity's Prime Minister,
Milorad Dodik, of conflict of interest and of abusing his powers by allowing a
company co-owned by his son to be granted a loan of one and a half million
euros, the nongovernmental organisation reported on Monday. TI has
established that Dodik is the chairman of the entity's investment and
development bank's credit-granting committee, which earlier this year approved
a loan of three million convertible marks to the "Fruit Eco" company,
headquartered in Laktasi, northwestern Bosnian.
Dodik's son is one of the owners of the company for growing and
processing fruits.
