KASIC, June 17 (Hina) - A delegation of the UNHCR led by the UNHCR
representative to Croatia, Wilfried Buchhorn, on Thursday visited the
village of Kasic in southern Croatia, where the return process of
Croatian refugees and their cooperation with settlers from Bosnian
Herzegovina are described as considerably successful, the Office of
the UNHCR in Zagreb stated in a press release.
The Croatian government, the UNHCR, donor countries, the local population and local authorities should try to facilitate a successful and complete return and self-sustainable life, the press release read.
The delegation visiting Kasic included Spanish and Belgian ambassadors, officials from the Dutch and US embassies, EU and government representatives.
