ZAGREB, Jan 13
(Hina) - The County Court in Velika Gorica, which
this past Thursday turned down a German request to extradite a former
chief of the Yugoslav-era State Security Service, Zdravko Mustac, who
is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of Croatian
dissident Stjepan Djurekovic outside Munich in 1983, on Monday made
public its explanation for refusal of the handover of the Croatian
citizen to Germany, in which it underlines that the statute of
limitations had expired in the case.
