BELGRADE, Oct 24 (Hina) - Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic said on Wednesday the only way to normalise relations among the republics which made up the ex-Yugoslav federation was "to recognise the once inter-republic borders
as international ones." This would also guarantee the current borders of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY), namely its two republics, Serbia and Montenegro, Svilanovic told the federal parliament. Speaking about Yugoslavia's chief foreign policy goals, he emphasised ensuring the inviolability of the borders and of sovereignty, normalising and strengthening relations with neighbours, former Yugoslav republics in particular, and normalising economic relations with the world. "The FRY has to settle the border issue with Croatia, in which the federal government will try to harmonise views with the Montenegrin government as much as possible," the minister said. Yugoslavia's basic goal "is directed towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes, and we shall pay more attention to the need of approaching Europe's current military and security structures," said Svilanovic. He also emphasised Yugoslavia's obligation to cooperate with the UN

Svilanovic said on Wednesday the only way to normalise relations

This would also guarantee the current borders of the Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY), namely its two republics, Serbia and
Montenegro, Svilanovic told the federal parliament.
Speaking about Yugoslavia's chief foreign policy goals, he
emphasised ensuring the inviolability of the borders and of

normalising economic relations with the world.
"The FRY has to settle the border issue with Croatia, in which the

government as much as possible," the minister said.
Yugoslavia's basic goal "is directed towards European and Euro-
Atlantic integration processes, and we shall pay more attention to
the need of approaching Europe's current military and security
structures," said Svilanovic.
He also emphasised Yugoslavia's obligation to cooperate with the UN
war crimes tribunal at The Hague.
