GRANIC DISCUSSES RETURN OF REFUGEES WITH BOSNIAN DELEGATION

ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic received a Bosnian delegation, led by Human Rights and Refugees Minister Kresimir Zubak on Monday. They discussed a programme the Croatian government set up to help the return of refugees, currently residing in Croatia, to their homes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Croatian government set aside 20 million kuna (USD2,45 million) from its 2001 budget for the implementation of the programme of rebuilding and donating building material, the government statement reads. The goal of the programme is to solve all the open questions concerning the return of the refugees by the end of 2002. It was concluded the two countries' veterans ministries are to determine the terms of use of the funds intended for building homes for the Bosnian Croats who fought in the Croatian Homeland Defence War.(hina) js
