PERU PIMA GRD 1 1-9/16 ------- 0.00 Euro raw cotton markets see abundant offers LONDON, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Virtually all European markets saw an abundance of selling offers amid renewed price weakness, traders said. It was particularly west African cottons that were on offer, with widespread price discounts. Some buyers in Portugal took advantage of current rates to book selected qualities for both nearby and spring through summer shipments. As for other growths, fresh enquiry was directed towards Uzbekistan and other central Asian descriptions both in Portugal and Italy. In the latter however, mill buyers of upland better grades have recently directed their attention towards Australian top grades, which they consider a suitable replacement for Central Asian styles. 221125 MET jan 98
