SPLIT, Nov 24 (Hina) - A humanitarian aid convoy left Tomislavgrad for
Zenica on Wednesday morning. For the first time British military trucks
were used for the transportation of aid supplies. The 43-truck convoy
was escorted by eight UNPROFOR vehicles.
British Battalion spokesman Henry Boyts said that the convoy was near
Prozor at 11:00 hours. He noted that no problems were encountered on the
way, and that the HVO was cooperative and fully adhering to the
agreement.
The spokesman went on to say that part of the aid would be unloaded for
Croats in Vitez, while the rest would be distributed in the Zenica area.
