ZAGREB, Nov 19 (Hina) - A Croatian Parliament delegation, led by
Parliament President Stjepan Mesic, met on Friday with an
Albanian Parliament delegation, led by Pjeter Arbnori.
Mr Arbnori told reporters that both Croatia and Albania wanted
the crisis on the Balkans to be settled in a peaceful way. He
pointed out that Albania found Serbia the aggressor in the former
Yugoslavia, and that Albania, as well as Croatia, advocated
respect for human rights and a principle of the inviolability of
the borders.
Mr Mesic explained the essence of the Croatian-Moslem conflict
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, noting that the crisis on the Balkans
could be overcome only by tightening the sanctions imposed on
Serbia and by international supervision of the Serbian borders
with Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which was supported by Mr
Arbnori.
