ZAGREB, Nov 4 (Hina) - The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Mate Granic, on Thursday
received a delegation of the International Committee of the Red
Cross, led by the deputy head of the Office for Central and
Eastern Europe, Andre Collomb.
The ICRC officials informed Minister Granic of their efforts
aimed at providing aid to the refugees from Vares and the
surrounding villages.
The talks also centred on the problems which arose after the
suspension of the exchange of POWs between the Bosnian Army and
the Croatian Defence Council (HVO). The exchange was suspended
as the Moslem side had failed to meet its obligations.
