ZAGREB, Dec 7, (Hina) - Knin Serb authorities have given permission
for a UNHCR convoy to leave Zagreb tomorrow morning and depart for
the Bihac enclave, northwest Bosnia, UNHCR spokeswoman woman in
Zagreb, Alemka Lisinski, told HINA.
The convoy, which includes ten trucks carrying some 100
metric tonnes of food assistance: flour, oil, canned food, salt,
yeast, powdered milk, children's food (courtesy of UNICEF), cooked
TVdinner meals (courtesy of the American Government).
The convoy will travel to Bihac via Sisak, Glina (Croatia)
and Cazin (Bosnia). It is the first convoy to the Bihac pocket
since October 1. Another convoy is expected to head for Bihac in
three days, under agreements with local Knin authorities.
