LJUBLJANA, Nov 8 (Hina) - Croatian ambassador to Slovenia, Miljenko
Zagar, yesterday visited a nuclear power plant in Krsko.
Plant manager Stan Rozman and his deputy Josip Aralica told
Zagar that all Croatian citizens employed at the plant had their
work permits extended for another year.
Rozman said the plant surmounted financial difficulties after
the signing of an agreement on financing between the Croatian and
Slovene governments.
The plant was built in the 80ties as a joint Croatian-Slovene
venture. The actual proportion of Croatian and Slovene shares in
its ownership is a subject of controversy, hopefully to be resolved
by bilateral agreement in the near future.
