ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Dr. Mate Granic
today received British, German, Russian and US Ambassadors in
Croatia, Gavin Hewitt, Horst Weisel, Leonid Kerestedzianc and Peter
Galbraith respectively, French Charge d' Affaires Jean-Pierre
Thebault, and International Conference on Former Yugoslavia
Ambassadors, Geert Ahrens and Kai Eide, the Foreign Ministry said
in a statement.
Croatian Foreign Minister informed his guests of the results
and subjects of his recent talks with the Foreign Minister of the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Vladislav Jovanovic.
Minister Granic apprised the diplomats of the situation in the
temporarily occupied areas of Croatia and the developments in
neighbouring Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He warned about danger of intensified participation of
Croatia's Serb rebels in military operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He reiterated Croatia's support to a peace plan devised by the
Contact Group for Bosnia and its abiding by the Washington Accords.
The drafting of a peace plan for the reintegration of the
Croatian occupied territories was under way, the ambassadors told
Minister Granic.
They stressed their support to the territorial integrity and
sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia in its internationally
recognized borders, the statement read.
