ZAGREB, Oct 4 (Hina) - Croatian Minister of Justice Ivica Crnic
today held talks with Richard Goldstone, the chief prosecutor of
the International Tribunal for War Crimes in Former Yugoslavia.
"A largest part of the work on gathering evidence on war
crimes is to be done by the Croatian courts and the State
Attorney's Office," Minister Crnic said after the talks.
Commenting on possibilities of overlaps of the
responsibilities of Croatian courts and the Hague Tribunal Crnic
said that the Hague Tribunal would be given priority in that event.
