PRESIDENCY OF CROATIAN DEMOCRATIC UNION OF B-H IN SESSION

MOSTAR, Aug 1 (Hina) - The presidency of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ B-H) convened on Monday to consider the implementation of the Constitution of the Bosniac- Croat Federation. Here are some highlights from a statement issued after the meeting, which was held behind closed doors: "The Presidency of HDZ B-H is committed to the consistent implementation of the Washington Agreement and the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina; "The Presidency of HDZ B-H proposes to establish regular contacts with the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) at the highest level, in order to reach a political agreement on all open issues relative to the implementation of the Washington Agreements and the Constitution; "The Presidency proposes the setting up of a political coordination body at the federal, cantonal and municipal levels, with the task of expediting the establishment of the Federation; "The Presidency proposes the setting up of a joint expert body to extend expert assistance in the implementation of the Washington Agreements and the Constitution; "The Presidency of HDZ B-H insists on the participation of Croatian representatives in all federal government institutions, particularly in diplomatic and representation offices, in keeping with the Constitution."
