VIENNA, July 8 (Hina) - Bozidar Petrac, heading a Croatian
Parliament delegation at a session of the CSCE Parliamentary
Assembly in Viennna, said in an interview with Hina on Friday that
among many documents adopted at the meeting a declaration on former
Yugoslavia was of particular importance to Croatia.
"It (the declaration) clearly and unequivocally strongly
condemns the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro)
for its direct participation in and support of aggression against
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina," Petrac said.
In the declaration, the CSCE called on the Serbs in occupied
Croatian territories to respect the territorial integrity of
Croatia and to purusue negotiations with the Croatian government in
order to find a peaceful solution.
"The CSCE Parliamentary Assembly for the first time expressed
great concern at the fact that part of Croatia is under occupation
and isolated from the rest of the country," Petrac said.
Speaking of the activity of the Croatian delegation, Petrac
said that in a number of bilateral meetings the delegation
presented Croatian initiatives aimed at restoring peace and
stability in southestern Europe.
