ZAGREB, July 16 (Hina) - An emergency session of the Croatian
Parliament's House of Representatives, called to discuss the
UNPROFOR's mandate in Croatia, began on Saturday morning.
In the beginning of the session delegates observed a minute of
silence for killed Croatian defenders and all civilians - victims
of the war.
Seventy-eight delegates attend the session. Besides delegates
of the ruling HDZ party, delegates of the Croatian Party of Rights
(HSP) and the Serb National Party (SNS), as well as several
independent delegates and representatives of ethnic minorities, are
present at the session. Representatives of the Croatian Government
and Association of Refugees also attend the session.
Delegates unanimously adopted the agenda of today's session
and afterwards Deputy Prime and Foreign Minister Mate Granic
delivered a speech on the UNPROFOR's mandate in the Republic of
Croatia.
