CONTACT GROUP PRESENTS PEACE PLAN TO CROATS AND BOSNIACS

GENEVA, July 6 (Hina) - Senior officials of the Bosnian Republic and the Bosniac-Croat Federation Alija Izetbegovic, Kresimir Zubak and Haris Silajdzic met this morning with the Contact Group members at the Russian embassy in Geneva. The Contact Group is to present them a proposal on the territorial and political arrangement of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The proposal is based on the commitment of the international community to preserve Bosnia-Herzegovina within its internationally recognized borders, with 51 percent of territory going to the Federation and the rest to the Bosnian Serbs. After the proposal is presented to legal Bosnian authorities, the Contact Group members are to meet with Radovan Karadzic and other representatives of the Bosnian Serbs. 061254 MET jul 94
