ZAGREB, Apr 16 (Hina) - During his visit to the city of Banja Luka
(under Serb control, northwestern Bosnia-Herzegovina) Bosnian
Serbs' leader Radovan Karadzic said that Serb forces had not
penetrated Gorazde (eastern Bosnia-Herzegovina), but they held
almost all strategic positions around the town, broadcast the
Belgrade radio on Saturday evening. Karadzic also said that he
believed airstrikes on Bosnian Serbs' positions would be still
carried out. According to Karadzic, there were some 15,000 Moslem
soldiers in Gorazde. He stressed that for Bosnian Serbs Gorazde was
not a safe haven, but a military stronghold.
He demanded that Moslems should hand over their arms to the
UN adding "If they do not hand over them to the UN, we will force
them to give them to us."
