SERB ATTACKS ON BIHAC, ONE PERSON KILLED AND 11 WOUNDED

BIHAC, Apr 4 (Hina) - The Serb aggressors continued today shelling of the towns of Bihac and Cazin an their suburbs (western Bosnia). The shelling left one woman and two children heavy wounded, reported sources of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday afternoon. According to the same source, yesterday during the Easter service the Serb forces carried out the fiercest shelling of Bihac and the surrounding suburbs, mostly Croatian (Catholic)-populated. One person was killed whereas eight were injured in yesterday's attack. A mortar shell hit the Catholic church in the Croatian village of Zavalje. No casualties were reported, said the same source. Western Bosnia's region, the so-called Bihac pocket, inhabited mostly by Moslem-Bosniacs, is totally besieged by the Serb aggressors: at the eastern side of the region the Bosnian territory is occupied by the Serb forces, whereas at the western side lies an occupied area of the Republic of Croatia (UNPA West and UNPA South). 041920 MET apr 94
