ZAGREB, March 16 (Hina) - President of the Republic of Croatia, Dr.
Franjo Tudjman, received today the Foreign Minister of the Republic
of Hungary, Geza Jeszenszky, stated the Croatian presidential
office on Wednesday. During their talks President Tudjman and
Foreign Minister Jeszenszky evaluated the relations between the two
neighbouring countries exceptionally good.
They also discussed the current situation in Bosnia-
Herzegovina after the Washington agreement between Croats and
Bosniacs (Moslems) from B-H as well as the role of UNPROFOR after
expiration of its mandate in the end of March.
President Tudjman expressed gratitude to Minister Jeszenszky
on friendship and support that Hungary offered to Croatia.
Hungarian Foreign Minister reiterated that Croatia would continue
to enjoy the support of Hungary in its constant endeavours to solve
the present problems in a peaceful way.
Their talks were especially focused on incentives to
economic cooperation between the two countries. In this context the
Hungarian side showed a great interest in establishing a customs
free zone in the port of Rijeka at the Adriatic coast.
