TRIESTE, March 5 (Hina) - A two-day ministerial meeting of the
Central European Initiative closed on Saturday by adopting a final
document on political and economic issues.
The Trieste meeting welcomed the Washington Agreement as a way
to reach peace in Bosnia-Herzegovina, incidentally becoming the
first international instance to do so. The ministers firmly
supported Croatia's sovereignty within the internationally
recognised borders and expressed satisfaction with the process of
normalisation of relations between Croatia and Serbia.
The final document also urged countries members to speed up
the introduction of market economy and privatisation.
The ministers agreed to set up a task group to draw up
projects for the reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
