MEDJUGORJE, Feb 16 (Hina) - The working group for Mostar has begun
its first meeting today at the Spanish UNPROFOR base in Medjugorje,
west Herzegovina. Herzeg-Bosnia's HABENA news agency reported the
meeting involves Bosnian Croat and Moslem military and civilian
representatives as well as representatives of the EU Monitor
Mission, the International Committee of the Red Cross and UNPROFOR.
The joint working group aims to bring about an end to
hostilities and enable free passage for humanitarian convoys and
release of all detainees.
Its work was agreed upon during talks between Croatia's
foreign minister Mate Granic and Bosnia-Herzegovina's prime
minister Haris Silajdzic in Geneva on 10 February.
