ZAGREB, Feb 5 (Hina) - Representatives of journalists' associations
from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Independent Association
of Journalists from Montenegro rejected at today's meeting in
Zagreb, organized by the International Federation of Journalists, a
proposal made by the Balkan Confederation of Journalists on joining
the Confederation. The reason for non-acceptance of the proposal is
the participation of "the Association of Journalists from
Yugoslavia" in the work of the Balkan Confederation of Journalists.
The meeting focused on relations with the Balkan Confederation
of Journalists, in which work currently participate associations of
journalists from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Albania, Cyprus,
Greece, Moldavia and "the Association of Journalists from
Yugoslavia".
