ZAGREB, Feb 5 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador to United Nations Mario
Nobilo was a guest in yesterday's Croatian TV show. He said that
his statement, saying that Croatia will liberate the parts under
the Serb control by force in the case sanctions are imposed against
it, was took out of context by some foreign media.
"That threat is simplified and taken out of context," said
Nobilo. He explained that journalists insisted on the question what
would happen if sanctions are imposed. I think that sanctions would
bring the war closer to Croatia and the region. The new refugee
crisis would appear in Europe and balance of forces would be
disturbed because Serbs would be in a better position, said Nobilo.
Ambassador Nobilo reminded that Croatia is the victim of
aggression and that imposing of sanctions against Croatia would be
unacceptable.
