ZAGREB, Jan 6 (Hina) - Special representative of the World Health
Organization (WHO) European Office Hannu Vuori and Croatian
Minister of Health Andrija Hebrang signed today an agreement on the
WHO's financial aid to the Croatian health services to the amount
of U.S. $ 300,000.
Dr. Vuori said that the money will be sufficient for medical
treatment and rehabilitation of about 300 wounded persons. Dr.
Andrija Hebrang thanked Dr. Hannu Vuori for financial help and
reminded on good co-operation with the WHO, on the program of
rehabilitation of the wounded in the war, which has lasted since
December 1992. This program is prolonged until 1995 and signing of
the agreement today is a part of the program.
