ZAGREB, May 28 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Gojko Susak
today received his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Golhan.
Folowing 90-minute talks, Susak told reporters that Croatia
had Turkey's support for its admission to NATO's Partnership for
Peace program.
Susak said that this autumn Croatia would send its army
officers for training at Turkish military academies.
He was pleased that Golhan's visit coincided with Armed
Forces Day in Croatia.
Golhan said that Turkey supported the territorial integrity
of Croatia within its internationally recognized borders.
He added that his country would make every effort to bring
about peace in the former Yugoslavia.
Golhan stressed the need for further development of friendly
relations between the two countries.
