ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament Speaker, Nedjeljko
Mihanovic, today received Iran's First Vice-President, Hasan
Habibi, who is on a several-day official visit to Croatia.
Habibi commiserated with Mihanovic over the latest events in
Tuzla and expressed his wish that a solution to the crisis in
Bosnia-Herzegovina be found as soon as possible.
Mihanovic emphasised that Moslem and Croat people in Bosnia-
Herzegovina were subjected to relentless terror and harassment.
Croatia deeply trusted Iran's ability to help find a way to resolve
the crisis, he said.
MP Muhamed Zulic, who was also present, thanked the Iranian
people for their efforts to overcome the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He stressed the need for close cooperation between Croatia, Iran
and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Also present were Minister Zlatko Matesa, the chairman of the
parliamentary foreign policy committee, Bozidar Petrac and Croatian
ambassador to Iran Osman Muftic.
