ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate Granic,
today congratulated Alain Juppe on his appointment as the French
Prime Minister.
Granic also congratulated the newly-appointed Foreign
Minister, Herve de Charette, wishing him much success in his work.
Stressing the importance Croatia attached to relations with
France and the European Union, Granic expressed the wish for these
relations to continue to grow and develop. He also voiced his hope
that joint Franco-Croatian efforts to resolve the crisis in south-
eastern Europe would meet with success.
