ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - Relations between Croatia and the Republic
of Iran were on a high level; the visit of Iranian delegation to
Croatia was important also as concerned relations between Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran, Prime Minister Nikica Valentic said
today in Zagreb.
The two delegations led by first Vice President of Iran, Hasan
Habibi and Prime Minister Nikica Valentic, discussed economic
cooperation.
As concerned volume of trade, Valentic said Iran was Croatia's
fifth biggest partner.
Iran's export to Croatia was much larger than its import and
the delegations agreed to find ways to increase Croatia's export to
Iran, Valentic said.
It was expected that the two delegations would sign agreements
on the building of four new ships, out of eight Croatia would build
for Iran.
The Iranian delegation would stay in Croatia for five days.
