ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - Serb paramilitary forces last night
opened small arms and mortar fire on Sunja, about 70 km southeast
of Zagreb, the Croatian army said in a statement.
Rebel Serbs breached the ceasefire at 22.05 hours when they
launched an infantry attack on the town's railway station.
Shortly afterwards they fired six mortar rounds on residential
buildings in the centre of the town, setting one house alight.
At 22.35, a group of Serb terrorists, opening small arms
fire, attempted to get closer to the railway station, situated in
a UN-supervised buffer zone, the statement said.
The Croatian army vehemently protested to UNCRO officials
about the attack.
