SARAJEVO, May 18 (Hina) - After yesterday's all-day clashes, early
morning hours in Sarajevo were relatively calm.
UN spokesman for the sector Sarajevo, Gy Vinnet, said sporadic
fightings had taken place last night at Mt. Igman area, notably
along the road connecting Sarajevo and the free territory.
Earlier in the evening some fire trading was registered along
the line toward the Serb-controlled Sarajevo district of Grbavica.
UN military observers have counted 5,130 armed incidents an
all area of Sarajevo, during past 24 hours, including over 1,000
cannon, tank and mortar blows. The observers also reported on
casualties, saying there were seven wounded on Bosnian side,
including three civilians, while Serbs had one killed and three
wounded.
Local hospital source in Sarajevo said however that there were
15 wounded on Bosnian side.
