MOSTAR, May 10 (Hina) - Priority in collecting documentation on war
crimes against Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina should be given to the
documentation on crimes committed by the Bosnian army troops
against Croat civilians in the villages of Cajdras, Buhine Kuce and
Krizancevo Selo, a Herzeg-Bosnian presidential council's statement
said today.
The statement also claimed that the clashes in central Bosnia
had intensified and grown into a war after a slaughter, burning and
looting of houses and expelling of the Croat civilians had been
committed by the Bosnian army soldiers in the village of Cajdras
near Zenica, and after a Zenica Croatian Defence Council (HVO)
brigade was disarmed and imprisoned in prison camps in Zenica.
The presidential council stressed that one of the most severe
crimes had been committed on December 22nd 1993, when the Bosnian
army 3rd Corps deputy commander Dzemo Merdan had ordered the
execution of more than 100 residents of the villages of Buhine Kuce
and Krizancevo Selo.
Herzeg-Bosnian authorities sent to Hague Tribunal on April
20th a part of the documentation on crimes committed against Croats
in the Konjic area. The documentation contained list executors as
well as of those who issued orders for the executions.
