PAKRAC, May 6 (Hina) - Retirees in the newly-liberated Pakrac area
would start receiving their pension payments as soon as the Pakrac-
based Pension Fund office verified their documents, Labour and
Welfare Minister Joso Skara said today.
Ministers Skara, Hebrang (public health) and Majdak met today
in Pakrac with Pozega County Prefect Anto Bagaric and
Croatian Red Cross secretary-general, Nenad Javornik.
"One-time welfare payments to the amount of 200 kunas per
family will also be granted to Pakrac area residents," Skare said.
Hebrang announced that a general practitioner's office would
reopen tomorrow in the newly-liberated Pakrac neighbourhood of
Gavrinica.
He said the reconstruction of the Pakrac hospital would begin
on Tuesday.
"There is no reason not to start works as soon as possible,"
he said.
