DUBROVNIK, April 13 (Hina) - Dubrovnik Mayor Nikola Obuljen this
evening commented on the latest Serb attacks on the Dubrovnik
region on Thursday.
Obuljen said while the entire international community and
Croatia were seeking a peaceful settlement to the conflict, Serbs
were again firing shells on Croatian areas. He added that the
unprovoked Serb attacks on villages and outskirts of Konavle in the
Dubrovnik hinterland killing one person and wounding three, showed
that Serbs did not want peace.
Obuljen and Jure Buric, prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County,
visited the wounded persons in the city hospital this evening.
Prefect Buric also toured Konavle to see how big material
damage had been caused by the Serb attack.
