SARAJEVO, April 3 (Hina) - Serbs fired several artillery shells
this morning on the Bihac 'safe area', western Bosnia.
The shells landed in the village of Sokolac, southeast of the
Bihac centre, wounding several civilians.
An UNPROFOR military observer was also wounded in the attack,
Sarajevo-based radio reported.
The Bosnian Army Fifth Corps sources reported also of new
attacks carried out by the Muslim rebel secessionist Fikret Abdic's
and Serb forces on the defence lines near Velika Kladusa.
All attempts of a breakthrough were repelled.
Serbs were attacking positions of the Bosnian Army and
Croatian Defence Council (HVO) on Mt. Pljesevica today, the same
source reported.
