MOSTAR, April 5 (Hina) - The UN Security Council Resolution 981
on the new UN mandate for Croatia "paves the way to the final
settlement, since it includes almost all the elements Croatia
needs in order to reintegrate its occupied territories", Croatian
Defence Minister Gojko Susak today said in an interview with
Mostar radio on the phone.
Asked to comment on recent "tour" of Montenegrin President
Momir Bulatovic with UN Secretary Generals special envoy Yasushi
Akashi around the Prevlaka peninsula, Susak said that "Prevlaka
isn't threatened no matter of how long Bulatovic and Akashi have
walked there."
The Prevlaka peninsula, the southernmost tip of Croatia's
territory to the border with Montenegro, has been a UN monitored
demilitarized zone.
