ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - Croatian and Bosnian Premiers, Nikica
Valentic and Haris Silajdzic, today signed a protocol on two-day
bilateral talks and several cooperation agreements and treaties.
The two premiers signed agreements on economic and customs
cooperation, a treaty on the return of refugees, an agreement
cancelling visa requirements and a protocol regulating these
matters until the above-listed agreements took effect.
Premier Silajdzic described the signing of these agreements
as a step forward in promoting the relations between the two
countries.
It was agreed that agreements on property relations,
transport, certain border crossings, legal relations, the Bosnian
Federation's access to the Adriatic sea through the Croatian
territory, and the implementation of an earlier agreement
guaranteeing Croats free passage through Neum, Bosnia, would be
drafted before April 25.
According to Valentic, these agreements would be signed on
May 3, when he and a Croatian government delegation were to visit
Sarajevo.
