SARAJEVO, March 7 (Hina) - Three UN military observers were robbed
today on a road near the Serb-held Sarajevo suburb of Vogosca.
UN Sector Sarajevo spokesman Pierre Cheveny said three armed
assailants in Serb military uniform this morning held up the
vehicle of UN Nigerian, Polish and Danish peacekeepers.
The Serbs ordered them out of the car, destroyed their
communication equipment and stole a uniform and flak jackets.
The assailants made off with their loot and the three
peacekeepers managed to get to Sarajevo.
The UN could confirm reports by the Bosnian government army
that Serb forces today opened fire at a supply route over Mount
Igman overlooking Sarajevo.
UN military observers recorded several detonations near the
Igman route and were investigation their causes.
