CROATIAN SOCIAL WELFARE STATISTICS

ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - The Labor and Social Welfare Ministry statistics recorded that by the end of January 113,058 Croatia's families social welfare cards. In Croatia, 60 per cent of the 241,184 people who were on social welfare, had never been social welfare recipients before. The majority of them were unemployed persons (31,688), people unfit to work (26,279), employed persons (18,117), pensioners (30,000) and farmers (6,174).
