SARAJEVO, Feb 6 (Hina) - Bosnian TV journalist, Namik Berberovic,
who Serbs kidnapped from an UN armoured vehicle 12 days ago, was
still in captivity and there were no signs that he'd be freed soon,
UN spokesman Alexander Ivanko said today in Sarajevo.
The Serbs had moved Berberovic to a Serb-run prison in Kula.
UNPROFOR officials yesterday were allowed to visit Berberovic
and according to their report there were no signs that the prisoner
had been maltreated, Ivanko said.
Bosnian Serb authorities are still refusing requests for
releasing Berberovic who was illegally captured and who Serbs were
now trying to exchange as a war prisoner.
