ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - The Serb Orthodox Church Metropolitan
Bishop, Jovan, today celebrated St. Sava's Day with a solemn
liturgy in the packed church of Holy Transfiguration in Zagreb.
The Serb Orthodox Church honours St. Sava as its founder.
At the end of the liturgy, Jovan urged the congregation to
show the world that they cherished peace and the Gospels above all
else and to keep praying and fasting.
Bishop Jovan, who lives in Ljubljana, voiced his joy at once
again meeting his Zagreb congregation on the holiday of the Serbian
people's greatest saint.
