ZAGREB, Jan 26 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian government office
for refugees and displaced persons, Adalbert Rebic, today met the
chief of the European Union task force for humanitarian issues,
Francisco Martinez Esparza.
They discussed the EU increasing humanitarian aid for
refugees, displaced persons and welfare cases in Croatia as well as
the ways of transporting humanitarian aid to occupied areas, the
Office said in a statement.
Recently, refugees and displaced persons in Croatia have been
receiving less humanitarian aid than in other parts of former
Yugoslavia.
The statement said it was very important that this problem was
discussed before the arrival tomorrow of an EU delegation for
humanitarian aid issues.
