ZAGREB, Jan 26 (Hina) - The Executive Board of the Serb Community
in Croatia (ZSH) today voiced concern about "possible developments
arising from the termination of UNPROFOR's mandate".
"Ending the UNPROFOR mandate at a time when both the Croatian
Government and local Serbs claimed to have created a favourable
atmosphere for further talks and to have made progress in
implementing the December 2 Economic Agreement, raises a justified
fear that the implementation of these agreements may be
jeopardised, which could lead to a new war in which all sides would
be tragically defeated," the statement elaborated.
