SISAK, Jan 25 (Hina) - Knin Serb leader Borislav Mikelic asked the
co-chairmen of the International Conference on Former Yugoslavia to
use all their influence with the Security Council to "ensure that
UNPROFOR stays in our (Serb) territories," Petrinja-based Serb
radio said today.
In his letter to the co-chairmen, Mikelic set UNPROFOR staying
on a condition for continuing talks with the Croatian government
and the implementation of the Dec 2 Economic Agreement.
The letter also emphasised the Serbs' diligent and tireless
efforts in repairing the oil pipeline, the waterworks and the power
transmission lines, in line with the Dec 2 Economic Agreement.
