SARAJEVO, Jan 2 (Hina) - A Bosnian government regional commission
for the implementation of the four-month cessation of hostilities
agreement in Sarajevo today decided to open all supply routes
into the city on January 4.
General Vahid Karavelic, commander of the Moslem-led Bosnian
army First Corps, told Sarajevo radio this evening that all
Bosnian troops would withdraw from the Mount Igman demilitarized
zone by noon Wednesday.
Bosnian Serbs made this a condition for opening a supply
route across a Sarajevo airport runway.
The head of the Bosnian government commission for
cooperation with UNPROFOR, Hasan Muratovic, said that only UN and
other international humanitarian agencies would have access to
Moslem enclaves in eastern Bosnia while the so-called blue routes
to Sarajevo would enable the transport of people and goods,
except military material, in and out of the city.
